Sodium Benzoate
Function: A broad-spectrum acidic preservative that inhibits yeasts and molds, effectively retarding food deterioration and extending shelf life; features good water solubility and thermal stability.
Application: Widely used in acidic foods, including beverages (carbonated drinks, protein drinks), condiments (soy sauce, vinegar, brewing sauces), confectionery and pastries (gum base candy, pastry fillings).
Potassium Sorbate
Function: Broad-spectrum bacteriostasis against molds, yeasts and most pathogenic bacteria; provides antisepsis and mildew prevention to extend shelf life, with high safety and high temperature resistance.
Application: Meat products, bread and pastries, beverages, pickled vegetables, fruit and vegetable products, candied fruits, condiments and other food categories.
